A New Publishing House Päikeseloom Opens In Estonia
Welcome to the shop of Päikeseloom Kirjastus! Päikeseloom Kirjastus is a new micro-publisher located in Estonia. It focuses mainly on local children´s literature, but adult readers are not forgotten either.
Publishing house was established in May 2024 by Estonian writer Ketlin Priilinn, mainly for publishing her own books, but in the future we might be open for publishing other writer´s work and also translated books.
So what are our books like and about? We are publishing Wally (Possu in Estonian) series for beginner readers. These books are simple and encouraging for toddlers to read. In the future we are going to publish several books for 9-12 year olds. Päikeseloom Kirjastus has also published an adult novel "The Butterfly Sonata" ("Liblikasonaat") which is a moving story about a woman who is fighting cancer, while at the same time trying to handle deep crisis in her marriage.
